2020 RAM 1500 Big Horn Power & Handling

One figure that the RAM 1500 Big Horn possesses that is sure to give you pause is its 12,750-pound towing capacity, which is among the best in its class. This terrific number is achieved via the RAM 1500 Big Horns powerful engines. The first engine is a 5.7-liter V8 that makes 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. There is also a diesel option, which is a turbocharged 3.0-liter that pumps out 260 horses and an eye-popping 480 lb-ft of torque. If you select the V8, you have the option of an eTorque system that turns off the engine in situations where it would otherwise idle, which helps improves fuel economy. Both engines connect to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel-drive comes standard, but the RAM does give you the option of four-wheel-drive. While the RAM is one of the most powerful trucks on the market, it’s also easy and fun to drive thanks to a unique coil suspension system.

2020 Chevy Silverado LT Power & Handling

The Chevy Silverado LT comes standard with a turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder that puts out 310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque and is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel-drive comes standard, but the Silverado LT Double Cab does have the option of four-wheel-drive if you so choose. Optional for the LT is a V8 and a diesel. The V8 is a 5.3L EcoTec3 that offers up 355 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of torque. It uses auto stop/start technology. The third engine option for the LT is the DURAMAX 3.0L Turbo-diesel I-6. It uses a 10-speed automatic transmission and has a 9,300-lb. maximum towing capability.

The RAM 1500 Big Horn is loaded with a ton of impressive features. Perhaps the best of the bunch is the best in class Uconnect system that has the option of either an 8.4-inch or 12-inch touchscreen. The system comes with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 360-degree camera, split-screen capability, and Sirius XM content. A ton of graphics packages is also available, including a military-themed Built to Serve package that adds a 4×4 off-road package, 20-inch wheels, and low-production exterior colors. There is also a Black Edition and a Night Edition that comes with a ton of black styling elements. Another impressive thing about the RAM Big Horn is its amount of space as it has twice the amount of space as its competitors meaning that passengers are comfortable, and there are plenty of storage compartments for extra stuff.

2020 Chevy Silverado LT Features & Design

There are a few excellent features available for the Silverado LT Double Cab, which include LED headlights, a tailgate damper, and an 8-inch touchscreen. These add to the standard features from previous trims such as air conditioning, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a six-speaker audio system. Optional are front tow hooks, power and heated mirrors, and cruise control. If you’re looking for safety, the Silverado LT Double Cab comes with lane departure warning, front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring. There are some terrific features to behold here, but the lineup on the RAM Big Horn is more extensive.
